Tera

In between Archeage I have been giving Tera a try once more. And I am actually beginning to like that game too! Since I am a MMORPG girl I absolutely adore the universe! Eventhough it is more bound compared to Archeage's sandbox format, it still have some great PVP features in the game. Not to mention the awesome costumes and armor pieces in the game! It kinda reminds me of the old days playing Aion, with a good reason why, since it is the same people behind the game! If you havent played Tera I would recommend you to try it out, it is free to play afterall. And since the game has been out for more than a year it has plenty hours of fun for you to discover! I have played the game until lvl 52, but I recommend you play with a friend or two, since questing can get a bit dull in the end, like any other game. But with lots of dungeons during leveling and special relic weapons, there is a lot of small details making it different from the normal flower picking quest!
I play a priest on the EU server called Fraya, under the name Naiomhe (Elanora was taken!!!!) Feel free to poke me if you see me online!

While waiting...

Since I am eager to try out ArcheAge and still have to wait for the Beta to be out in Europe I am trying to kill time elsewhere. Tried several games lately and nothing seems to be interesting enough for me in the longer run! I simply just need something new! Been killing time in The Sims 3, while waiting for Sims 4 aswell to get here, but mostly ArcheAge which is "just around the corner" they say.
Been to almost all the games I own and even tried out new ones but yet I remain eager and impatient for ArcheAge... it is annoying!

Not dead yet...

I know I have been quiet for a while, but don't you worry I ain't dead yet! I have been studying at my university 24/7 for the last many weeks! But now finally I have some spare time and freedom in terms of reading holiday and preparations for my exam in June.
But that means more gaming and sparetime! Can't wait!

Sims 4 - Features you will love !

If you are just as excited for Sims 4 as I am, you will find this video very interesting! A lot of features I am looking very much forward to!

Especially the two "relationship bars", the life time being more realistic in terms of losing a family member etc.

I can't wait ! 

Meanwhile in Sims 3

Since Sims 4 ain't going to launch until this Autumn there is plenty of time to rediscover the Sims 3, and all the expansions there!
I personally enjoy starting over from nothing and making my way up into the rich people's world.
While doing so I realised which expansions I can't live without; Seasons where the seasons are changing and there are new activities for every season.
University, where I can educate my Sims even more, to make it possible to get a better job in the end.
On top of that I love the expansions where you can go out shopping etc.

Which expansion is your favorite? Do you have any preferences for Sims 4's expansions?

The Sims 4

I blogged about the Sims 3 a while ago, and was all excited about the new Sims 4 coming out in February 2014, but now they have postponed the game until autumn this year. Whether it is a good thing or not, I am still having my hopes up for the game.
Due to all the changes and optimizations they have made to the game since it first came out 14 years ago :)

Male vs. Female character

It is one of the big questions everytime you launch up a new game. What to pick? Male or female character?
Some people tend to use the online games for being something they are not if I ain't mistaken? And this could be one of the reasons for so many males picking a female character, but that's just a guess of course.
Personally I tend to stick with the female characters, maybe because I feel like I can "be in the character" myself somehow, though the actual body, pointy ears, muscles, tail and height might be a bit off sometimes! I think I pick the female characters in the case of the game being a good Roleplaying game aswell, if the chance for getting some good Roleplaying going is there I am up for it! That way I am sure I am able to bring some life into my character by being female in real life aswell.

I have played MMORPG games for almost 7 years now and so far I haven't made one single male character... Maybe it is time to start looking into that path? Not sure but I am definitely never in a doubt when trying out a new game, female from start to finish!

But what do you fancy the most when making a new character?

The Sims - Silversteen part 2.

After Elanora's husband Nathan's dead, she was griefing even through her artistist work. Nothing was helping her getting in a better mood not even her kids.

Megan tried to work out how she should approch her mum about the issue that her father was gone.

Christian even tried talking art with her.

But Elanora and Nathan's love was so strong that even after his death, they would still meet at night when Nathan was walking dead as a ghost.

Meanwhile Christian was pulling girl after girl, to find the perfect love of his life, but it wasn't without his sister's premission. 

Megan made an interview of each of the girls, to make sure her brother got the love of his life before she was moving in.

Christian was unstopable and Megan was so busy interviewing a new girl each day, she was having a hard time catching up on work. 

In the middle of finding love, Elanora passed away, just as the maid got there to clean the house.

Megan tried talking Death into letting her mum go by trying out her jokes on him, but nothing worked.

Megan was griefing through her work for so long with the result of growing up.

She was now an adult, and her oldest brother Taylor was there to see it happen.

Even Christian grew up, eventhough he wasn't much for getting older.

At the time both of them was adults, it was time for Taylor to pass away, Megan was deeply wounded, and once again she tried to talk Death out of it, without luck.

A few years later Christian finally found herself the love of his life, Nastasja Krogh, who was pregnant and married at the time they fell in love. But of course she could't resist the attractive Business man Christian, so she left her husband for Christian, and brought her by that time little baby, Caspar.
Eventhough Christian now was a stepdad he tried his best teaching Caspar and helping him out with his homework.

Meanwhile Nastajsa was interested in writing just like Megan, and she easily found herself behind the desk.

Christian and Caspar was spending most of the time in the garden playing ball. 

And when he wasn't he was out with Nastasja in the garden, showing her his secret to staying young and healthy, life-fruit! He even shared some with her.

A few weeks later Christian made Nastasja pregnant, and he had to rush to the Hospital in his limosine. 

Caspar was meanwhile out way too late and got caught by the police...

Christian didn't like the fact that Caspar had grown up to be such a rebel! He had taught him everything right and how to behave, how did this happen?

At Caspar's 18-year old birthday he packed his things and left his mum and stepdad, since he wasn't the youngest anymore and he was mostly left to himself. His stepdad Christian bought him a nice little house of his own, for some of all the wealth and money he was making. 

It was finally Nate's birthday, named after his granddad Nathan.

Nate was learning all sorts of things from a young age and he was very loved by his mum and dad.

Nastasja would read for him every evening before his bedtime and Nate couldn't dream of a better life with all this love.

But then the day came where Nate got a little sister Mia, who was just as loved as him, but Nate coped with it, cause now he had somebody to play with.
