The weather has been so nice lately that I am having a hard time playing games, and yet I do play a few hours here and there, but always feeling guilty about not being outside!
But don't all geeks feel this way ?

Finally found the problem to all my pictures being gone and now my blog is up and running again!

For some reason I have problems with the pics I have uploaded disappearing, which is really annoying...
I am really frustrated about the problem, since I put a lot of work into this blog, and if all the pics are suddenly gone I dunno what to do..
Fingers crossed it will pass!

Videogames vs. Real life

Lately

Lately I haven't been having any internet on my desktop! So that's one of the reasons to fewer updates.
On top of that I have been moving in with the BF, working and lots of stuff happened IRL.
But now it is looking better, eventhough University start is around the corner !
While offline I had a chance to play a bit of Sims 3, since I was bored I had time to build my BF and I's flat (Eventhough the scale is totally out of proportion) !

I am finally back home from my holiday in Southern France ! Was amazing 2,5 weeks and now I am gonna spend some time on all my games and online friends!

Away on summer vacation!

When you read this I am on my way down through Europe towards 2 weeks in southern France!

I can't wait. Who doesn't need a vacation every now and then? I will be back around the 1st of August.

Towards Rohan

I know I haven't been around for quite a while. My RL has been so busy, due to University startup, new BF and less timing for gaming due to new job aswell. But lately I am playing Lord of the Rings once again. The Rohan expansion finally came out. I have been waiting for that for I don't know how long anymore...!
But currently enjoying being back in LOTRO, and having a break from GW2.
It all started with the cravings in december, when the Hobbit came out! Was totally in the "I have been there and there" mood when watching the movie. It was a great movie and love to be back in the LOTR universe. Can't wait for the next movies.

So did you watch the hobbit and did it affect you in playing Lord of the Rings Online?

Life - Do I have one?

Sometimes it hits me when I can spend an entire day in front of the PC, if I really do have a life or not ? Of course I have a social life aswell next to it, but sometimes I just get sucked into the game I am playing and hours are flying away in no time! So it hit me, maybe do I play too much if I would rather cancel an appointment with an IRL friend than to cancel a raid night? I have been in both situations and can see it from both sides, but how about you?

Maybe I am the only one really thinking it's awesome that the cats got their own special day a week? Caturday! I so want a cat to celebrate this with, I know I am crazy, but hey otherwise the world would just be completely boring! Right? I am sure this fenomen is gonna take over and be celebrated the proper way! Happy Caturday everyone!

Computer backpacking!

I am back after being on a smaller vacation in the UK, and I had quite a trip on the way there I can tell you! Thing is my BF wanted me to take along his big old main stationary computer along in my suitcase, and no its not a laptop or anything near the small side! Its a huge fecking monster I tell you! Probably about 12 kgs, which is a lot if you think about who is going to carry this! (ME!!!!)

But oh well after having a long talk with the people at the airport they said okay for it and threw it on board on the flight! With fingers crossed the entire way and lots of swearing words about how stupid this idea and PC was, I manage to reach the goal with the PC in fine condition, and I now made my BF happier than ever! He really did miss me (or was it the PC?)

But yeah anyway I had a wonderful time and I hope you have all been alright out there, so when thinking of my little trip I got curious about:

 if you ever have missed your PC, when being on holiday or apart ?

Female gamers ?

Why is it always female gamers people make fun of? Personally I might need a bit of help once in a while but I just look at it as if I ain't as Hi-Tech as guys can be?

What size is your Monitor?

Happy New Year to everyone out there! I hope you had a very wonderful Christmas and a happy new year, did you get anything good for christmas ?

Personally I had a wonderful one but afraid there wasn't any geeky loot this year! But anyway for about a month now I have been borrowing my BF's monitor which is 24''!!! And I am like WOOOAH! It's so huge and I feel completely dragged into the games even more! It's like being there now compared to the 14'' it was before !

So I got curious about this and started looking for monitors to buy, and stumpled upon some funny ones! The top picture one is just huuuge! But compared to the 3D at the bottom picture its nothing! Maybe I should wait a bit and see what will happen to the Monitor universe very soon, as I can tell the 3D is definately a reality and that would mean BEING in the game world for "real" or at least almost!

Fantasy books - What's your favourite ?

One of you guys came up with a very interesting question the other day about Fantasy books, and I decided to pick that topic for this post!

Personally I don't read a lot of books these days, mainly because I enjoy other things and have a busy RL too. If I have to read books it is either if I am being forced to or if the book itself suddenly gets very interesting in the first 20-50 pages!
But out of the few fantasy books I have read I can meantion all the Harry Potter books, I am a big fan of those indeed! I did start the Tolkien Lord of the Rings books, (got them all) but after 40+ pages and the fact they still hadn't reached Bilbo's party I fell asleep and I have never opened them again I am afraid! But I do love the movies, the universe and not to meantion the games!

So I am curious now, do you read fantasy books? In which case, whats your favourite ?
