ArcheAge Launch date!!

Finally the wait is over! Tomorrow friday the 12th of september the Head start for ArcheAge is starting, and game officially launches on tuesday the 16th. 

Personally I can't wait to get started! Here is a short video mix of some of the features ArcheAge has to offer!

Back on track

Just got home from my second week of holiday and had a blast! I just got home in time to try out ArcheAge's second closed beta event, which will run from 31th of july till 4th of august! Did you get your beta keys yet?

ArcheAge - 1st Closed Beta Event

It is finally time for the ArcheAge European first closed beta event. We have been waiting for months for this and now it is just around the corner! On thursday the 17th the closed beta event will begin and run until monday evening (European time). For more information check out: The official announcement

ArcheAge

2014 has been a confusing year for me in games... I haven't really found "THE GAME" yet... Which is kinda sad, since I had my hopes up for The Elders Scrolls Online.. But since that was a downer for me, I have been stuck in Final Fantasy XIV - A realm reborn. And now I am starting to get slightly bored... After having been so busy IRL, I haven't felt the same vibe in either of the games I own. LOTRO, FFXIV, Sims 3, Age of Conan, etc.. I am finding myself in a weird spot where I dont know which way to go. I want something new and exciting and then I got a tip about this new game called ArcheAge!

When I heard the name at first, I was a bit sceptical, due to it also being an asian MMO, but then when I read into what the game was like I was blown away. ArcheAge ain't just a normal MMORPG, but it is a sandbox game, meaning players are allowed to do almost anything!
You can build your own house anywhere, trading/gathering is playerbased, you can build your ship, PVP, there is even a crime system if you steal of someone else goods! On top of that there are no bound classes, but you have the control of which skills and weapons you would like to use! So be your own master and be the character you have always wanted to be! The game has seriously every aspect all the other MMORPGs have been missing for the last 10-15 years!

ArcheAge is litteraly the MMORPG you have been waiting for! And the betas are supposed to go out next month in June 2014. The game has been out since last year in Korean and Japan, but they are translating the game ATM. Hopefully we will get this game sooner than I can hope for! At least I am very excited! And the best thing about ArcheAge is it is Free to Play!!!! Ofc there is a chance of having a subscription if you want some extra stuff, but how amazing is that anyway?
I am looking forward to trying it out and hopefully it will be all the waiting worth it!

FFXIV - Patch 2.2

Finally the day came where the Final Fantasy Patch 2.2 came out!
I am still all excited to try out all the new stuff! So far I have had a haircut and about to adventure a lot more later today !

The days before the patch launched, we finally got a house in my Free Company, and what better to wait by having a warm bath in the hot tub with the rest of the company!

FFXIV - Patch 2.2

Since I finally reached the end game stuff in Final Fantasy, a lot of time has been passing by doing the same stuff over and over again, but that is soon to an end with the new patch 2.2. coming up on the 27th of March!
We are getting new dungeons, raids, hardmodes and extreme modes of earlier dungeons! New hairstyles, new armour, cosmetics and much much more :)
I can't wait for the weekend to start!

Picture problems!

For some reason I have problems with the pics I have uploaded disappearing, which is really annoying...
I am really frustrated about the problem, since I put a lot of work into this blog, and if all the pics are suddenly gone I dunno what to do..
Fingers crossed it will pass!

Sims 4

Since I have been playing Sims 3 lately, I thought I might look into the new Sims 4, coming out around february 2014!
The new features of this game is amazing if you ask me. The whole emotion system is gonna change the game forever, hopefully into the better! On top of that there are so many new movements and features that makes it possible to make the perfect sim you wanna be.
I know at some point I have got to try it out. I have been a huge Sims fan ever since the first came out back in 2000.

Towards Rohan

I know I haven't been around for quite a while. My RL has been so busy, due to University startup, new BF and less timing for gaming due to new job aswell. But lately I am playing Lord of the Rings once again. The Rohan expansion finally came out. I have been waiting for that for I don't know how long anymore...!
But currently enjoying being back in LOTRO, and having a break from GW2.
It all started with the cravings in december, when the Hobbit came out! Was totally in the "I have been there and there" mood when watching the movie. It was a great movie and love to be back in the LOTR universe. Can't wait for the next movies.

LOTRO 5 year anniversary

I can't believe it's been 5 years since I started playing LOTRO, time flies so fast when you are having fun.
And this year Turbine made a celebration with Gift boxes for each year you have played, with outfits, steed, etc. inside.
The entire anniversary is celebrated throughout entire Middle Earth with a huge amount of fire works everywhere not to meantion all the beer!!
