LOTRO - Helms Deep

The last few months in 2013 I have been busy with my study, though I ofc had time to check out the new Lord of the Rings online expansion - Helms deep.

No doubt about the scenery being nice and interesting, with the many new maps and areas that has been added this expansion. But the hatch about the expansion is there is not enough new end game stuff in my opinion. As soon as I dinged 95, and I had tried out all the new "Epic battles" in the new system, I felt kinda bored I must admit.
I will be honest here....I kinda lost interest in LOTRO for the first time for real since Launch. There is no new content, we are still grinding the old raids which now can be scaled up to 95, from the earlier low levels around 65! We have had plenty of years to discover those raids/instances and to get to know the tactics, therefore I am kinda disappointed in the whole new expansion.
If Turbine doesn't come up with some new end game stuff I am afraid the game will fade out before new games such as The Elder Scrolls Online comes out.

Have you tried the new expansion, and what is your opinion about it ?

After several tries in the same day, we finally managed to take down Draigoch in his Lair full of treasures :) Here is a few screenies!

Rise of Isengard

 

Finally the Rise of Isengard expansion came out for Lord of the Rings Online! Here is a few screenshots from some of the many areas in the 3 new regions! The level cap has been raised by 10 levels and a new raid has been added, which I will be checking out tomorrow hopefully! Screenshots will follow!

Age of Conan - Free to play!

After several years Age of Conan is now free to play!

I used to play Age of conan when it launched, but didn't really continue to the end! I was a lvl 77 Bearshaman named Caiomhe on the RP server Aqualonia back in the days! The rumours went on that every character from back then was deleted, but when I logged in yesterday it wasn't the case! I found my good old bearshaman right there and I have been checking out the features and scenery once again in this game, and its just simply amazing once again. I love the realistic look it has, and the atmosphere in the game, not to meantion the awesome soundtracks!

Whether you have a character there or not, I would recommend you to go try out the game, it is free afterall!

Pink Skies

Such a beautiful sky/scenery over Enedwaith, I love the colours! Spring has finally hit Middle Earth!

Interesting places in Enedwaith

Lately I have been questing a lot in Enedwaith, and therefore I discovered some nice little areas, not to meantion the amazing purple sky they've added! Gotta love the new area! To me it feels like a bit of Annuminas meets the Shire and Eregion all in one zone! Guess they were a bit busy when they made it? No matter what I still enjoy it, but can't wait for the new expansion upcoming though! 

Adventures of Enedwaith!

I have been exploring only just half of Enedwaith and I am loving it already! As some people said it reminds them of Age of Conan, and I can agree at some points, but I still think Lotro makes its own perfect version that fits into Middle Earth just perfectly! The green fields and the amazing sky they've added makes it a perfect place for me to stay for the next few months until the next patch!

I still remember the amazing scenery from Age of Conan, my personal favourite place was Field of the Dead, where not only the music was amazing, but they had some pretty amazing views such as this:
