Guide to: Steeds of Middle Earth
I love grinding reputation, participating in the festivals, doing deeds, etc. to get epic mounts in LOTRO! I really loved this summer's horse as you can see on the pictures above!
I stumbled upon this amazing guide about where, how and when you can find and get these amazing mounts and ofc I wanted to share this with you guys.
Lotro Steeds - It has pictures, locations, information etc. about every mount in game, and on top of that also some of the new horses with the upcoming Free to play! It looks like you can buy certain speed buffs for your horse aswell! All very interesting, cant wait!
Enjoy!
So which mount is your current favourite in LOTRO?
Personally mine is still either the Tundra horse or Lithe fest pale Golden one!

Favourite mount...geez that's going to be so hard to choose once the new ones come out! I'll be closer to the meta deed ones on my hunter as she was my first character, but I'm gonna want them on my LM...moar grinding! Forochel is going to be horrid.
ReplyDeleteBut right now the Council of the North is my favourite.
Always liked that one too Erunaneth :) But actually never managed to grind the Rep for it ! :D
ReplyDeletei do actually like the meta deed one from mirkwood :) and the Annuminas one. and must add the ettens rank 9 one, since i kiiinda ranked 9 mostly for that one. heh. i do have a thing for the plain black one from mirkwood though..
ReplyDeleteSooo manny to chose from.. heh xD
Hahah yea tell me about it :D and with F2P even more will be added! I cant wait! Time to grind rep!
ReplyDeleteI don't play anymore but my favorite was always the Blue Roan. I got the pale gold one first and then the grey one and used that till I quit.

Aws , why did you quit ? :/
ReplyDeleteI just got bored. Wasn't that many people on to play around with and I think I just about did all the solo stuff that interested me :) Back to shooting games now until the next MMORPG comes out I think. Still playing Ela?

Aws that's sad :) ofc I am, and with Free to Play tomorrow its gonna be server lag and camping mobs again :D I can't wait ! Lotro is gonna be full of people again!
ReplyDeleteNaaaah its fine, tends to happen if I like a game. I play it to death for a few months and then get bored and quit if there aren't enough people to constantly keep things fun. I'm not sure why but I just never got into grouping and raiding in Lotro. Maybe it was just more fun (read: challenging) to solo things. Rift: Planes of Telara is looking pretty good so far and that's for release early next year. Till then there's plenty of FPS/RPG games coming out, even if Cami does hate them with a passion :D
ReplyDeleteHope F2P works out and there's loads more people, Lotro could do with a slight population boost. Back when it first started it was pretty fun to see people everywhere in all the low end zones!

Aws I always think Lotro has had quite a decent amount of people :) So it has never been dead to me in those 3½ years I have played it :)
ReplyDeleteNot -dead- per say, just not as many people as there was when it first came out and there were people absolutely everywhere :) When I levelled my hunter there was no end of people lfging and soloers I'd bump into, on Warden, years later, there just isn't that many people. The game seems to start at 55+ once people hit Moria. I can probably count on two hands the amount of people I bumped into while I was leveling my Warden :p
ReplyDeleteI wondered a few times why LotRO didn't feel as social as other games I've played. AoC was the same, now I think about it. Something for me to ponder while I'm meant to be working this afternoon anyway :D
