Since I lost interest in LOTRO, I had the chance to try out something new and different. A friend talked me into trying out Final Fantasy XIV, and I must admit it really was the change I needed.
The game itself seems at first like any other MMO, but has a lot more to give.
For example you can play all the classes with one character and you have to make alts, eventhough I love that concept sometimes! But handy on the other hand to just have one char with one name. So everyone knows who you are!
On top of that all the crafting can be done aswell from one character! Again super smart!
To top off that there is a lot of dungeons, something called Guildhests which is like small fights against a boss, raids and PVP.
I am afraid I haven't even tried half of it yet, but I am looking forward to trying the raids and PVP! But so far I ain't disappointed yet! I am lvl 30 and I feel like there is so much to this game, that I won't find it boring straight away.
I would personally say FFXIV is a great game to spend time on while waiting for games like The Elder Scrolls online. At least I know where I will be hanging out when there is time!
